솔로몬이 병거와 마병을 모으며 병거가 일천 사백이요 마병이 일만 이천이라 병거성(兵車城
)에 두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으니(열왕기 상10:26)
왕이 예루살렘에서 은을 돌같이 흔하게 하고 백 향 목을 평지의 뽕나무 같이 많게 하였더라.(:27)
솔로몬의 말들은 애 굽에서 내어 왔으니 왕의 상고(商賈)들이 떼로 정가 하여 산 것이며9:28)[애 굽 에서 내어 올린 병거(兵車)는 하나에 은 육백 세겔이요 말은 일백 오십 세겔이라 이와 같이 헷 사람 의 모든 왕과 아람 왕들을 위하여도 그 손으로 내어 왔더라.:29]
여호와여 이제 내가 주께 내게 주신 토지소산(土地小産)의 맏물을 가져 왔나이다. 하고 너는 그것을 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 두고 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 경배 할 것이며(신명기26:10)[네 하나님 여호와께서 너와 네 집에 주신 모든 복을 인하여 너는 레위 인과 너의 중에 우거(寓居)하는 객과 함께 즐거워할지니라.:11]
그런즉 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 복종하여 내가 오늘 날 네게 명하는 그 명령과 규례를 행할 지니라.(신명기27:10)
너를 여호와의 이름으로 일컬음을 세계 만민이 보고 너를 두려워하리라.(신명기28:10)
솔로몬 왕이 에돔 땅 홍해 물가 에롯 근처 에시온게벨 에서 배들을 지은 지라.(열왕기 상9:26)
히람이 자기 종 곧 바다에 익숙한 사공(沙工)들을 솔로몬의 종과 함께 그 배로 보내매(:27)
저희가 오빌에 이르러 거기서 금 사백이십 달란트를 얻고 솔로몬 왕에게로 가져 왔더라.(:28)
이곳으로 인도(引導) 하사 이 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 주셨나이다.(신명기26:9)
모세가 레위 제사장 과 더불어 온 이스라엘에게 고하여 가로되 이스라엘아 잠잠히 들으라. 오늘날 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 백성이 되었으니(신명기27:9)

1Ki 10:26 Solomon accumulated chariots and horses; he had fourteen hundred chariots and twelve thousand horses, which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.
