가로되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와여 상천하지(上天下地) 에 주와 같은 신이 없나이다. 주께서는 온
마음으로 주의 앞에서 행하는 종들에게 언약을 지키시고 은혜를 베푸시나이다.(열왕기 상:23)
주께서 주의 종 내 아비 다윗에게 허(許)하신 말씀을 지키사 주의 입으로 말씀하신 것을 손으로 이루심이 오늘날과 같으니 이다.(:24)
이스라엘 하나님 여호와여 주께서 주의 종 내 아비 다윗에게 말씀 하시기를 네 자손이 자기 길을 삼가서 네가 내 앞에서 행한 것 같이 내 앞에서 행하기만 하면 네게로 좇아 나서 이스라엘 위에 앉을 사람이 내 앞에서 끊어지지 아니 하리라 하셨사오니 이제 다윗을 위하여 그 허하신 말씀을 지키시옵소서.(:24)

또 보았노니 종들은 말을 타고 방백들은 종처럼 땅에 걸어 다니는 도다.(전도서10:7)
빛은 실로 아름다운 것이라 눈으로 해를 보는 것이 즐거운 일이로다(전도서11:7)

1Ki 8:23 and said: "O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below--you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.
1Ki 8:24 You have kept your promise to your servant David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it--as it is today.
1Ki 8:25 "Now LORD, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father the promises you made to him when you said, 'You shall never fail to have a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful in all they do to walk before me as you have done.'
Ex 23:8 "Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.
